This January I shot the winter X-Games in Aspen, CO for
OnTheSnow. Shooting the X-Games is so much fun, and at every event I watch in amazement as the athletes push themselves to the limit. While this event is fun, exciting, and glamorous, it is also a prime example of what people can accomplish if they really give it their all. Imagine snowboarding/skiing a 22-foot-tall SuperPipe, groomed to perfection. It has an 18-degree pitch, is 66 feet wide wide, and 567 feet long. You could get six or seven hits
each run. Now imagine you are competing against the best athletes in the world, in cold conditions, under bright lights, with millions of people watching. Sound intriguing? For the ones that are interested in this, they really give it their all and it shows. I have so much respect for all the athletes involved, you are inspiration to us all!
