This amazing and awesome (yes it was actually awe inspiring!) waterfall is on Deadwood Creek, a tributary to the North Yuba River in Northern California. When Cody, Brandi, Will, Darin, Austin, and I made the trek there was still snow on the ground, but it was melting quickly giving Austin the ability to get the first descent. While the road was a bit treacherous with snow, it was a great little mission to be a part of! Also check out the article that Austin wrote for Kokatat.

I love waterfalls, and this is an amazing photo. I'm sure I would not have caught the action! But then the only thing I ever photograph is food, which I'm pleased to say just sits there in one spot!
